Our inspiration: A cranberry cosmo was the canvas for this one.
But when we tasted them, we literally said ‘tastes like Christmas’ and ‘smells like Christmas.’ And then we were reminded of wassail. So that became ‘wails like Christmas.’ Because you know, the tastes and smells of the holidays make us want to grab a mic and wail.
Bonus time: same ingredients – three drinks! All deliver amazing cranberry and warm spices with just a light note of citrus to brighten the flavor. Warm and bright.

2 oz gin
2 oz spiced cranberry syrup
Super spice bitters (to taste)
Orange peel
Smells Like Christmas
2 oz vodka
2 oz spiced cranberry syrup
Super spice bitters (to taste)
Orange peel
Wails Like Christmas
1 oz orange juice OR apple juice
2 oz spiced cranberry syrup
Super spice bitters (to taste)
Orange peel
In a shaker filled with ice, combine all ingredients except the orange peel. Shake to the beat of your favorite holiday song, pour over ice.
Garnish with the orange peel.
Make one for your friend.
No shaker? No problem. Pour the same ingredients in a glass, stir briskly, pour over ice. Garnish.
