Smokin' Jim Recipes

Smokin' Jim Recipes

Forget pumpkin spice and eggnog; there are few things that harken the season more than stepping outside and breathing in cool air tinged with the smoky edge of a bonfire. No need to bundle up; instead, mix up and enjoy.

To make this drink:

2 oz bourbon OR 2 oz black tea (bottled)

1 oz smoked maple syrup OR ½ oz smoked maple syrup

Orange bitters (to taste)

Cherry

Orange Peel

Mix bourbon or tea and maple syrup in a glass. Stir thoroughly. Add bitters (a splash or two). Pour over ice, then garnish with a cherry and orange peel.

Our inspiration: We started with a traditional old fashioned. But our buddy Jim loves smoked maple syrup. And he loves bourbon. And we love him. So there.
